Contribution to Croatian Pavilion, Venice Biennale 2024
Yva has been invited to contribute a drawing to Vlatka Horvat's project entitled “By the Means at Hand” which will be exhibited at the Croatian pavilion at the Venice Biennale, 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, between 20 April and 24 November 2024. Coventry Biennial 2023
The grand opening of the 4th Coventry Biennial will take place on Thu 5 Oct 2023 at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. Jung’s work will be exhibited at the Herbert and the Old Grammar School until 14 Jan 2024.

Coventry Biennial 2023
Jung will exhibit her new work at Coventry Biennial 2023 entitled … like a short cut through the brambles. It will take place from 6 October 2023 until January 2024 in Coventry and Warwickshire.
School Mural
Jung has recently completed a large site-specific mural at the St Alban & St Stephen Catholic Primary School, St Albans.
a-n Artists Council
Yva Jung has been appointed to the Artists Council at a-n for 2022-2025. The Artists Council is an advisory group to a-n’s Board and Executive, bringing valuable skills and experiences to ensure the needs of its 28,000 members are met. Council members will play a key role in driving the direction of a-n’s advocacy, research and programme activities.
Journey with a Container
Yva Jung will present her solo exhibition, entitled 'Journey with a Container' at Landguard Fort this summer. This exhibition is commissioned by the Pier Projects and supported by the Arts Council England. For more information and RSVP to its opening, please visit here.

Channel Festival
Yva Jung will showcase a new series of public artwork, entitled 'The Distance Between’ (2022) in Felixstowe as part of Channel Festival, a weekend of activities inspired by our relationship to the sea. The Channel Festival is curated by Pier Projects and its first edition will be during 18-20 March 2022.
Creative Art Workshop, Felixstowe
Yva Jung will be leading a creative art workshop for children in Felixstowe. This workshop will take place on Wed 27 Oct 2021 between 10am-12pm by a beach hut on the Promenade in Felixstowe. Eastside Projects, Summer Camp
Yva Jung is showing a new video piece entitled ‘How do you explain the sea to a child?’ at the Eastside Projects Summer Camp 2021 Stream Exhibition, taking place online between 1- 31 August 2021.
Developing Your Creative Practice Grant
Yva Jung has been awarded a Developing Your Creative Practice grant from Art Council England. This funding will support Jung’s new year-long project entitled ‘Sea Breathe’ which is about developing and researching new ideas on the breathing of the sea.
Pier Projects
Yva Jung is commissioned by Pier Projects to develop and present a new body of work in the coastal town of Felixstowe, Suffolk in 2021-2022. This work is supported by Arts Council England, the Artists Information Company (A-N) and Suffolk County Council through Enabling Communities Fund.

Yva Jung was commissioned by underGROWTH; a year-long series of monthly, eco-art micro-residencies and socially-distanced projects, co-curated by Lauren Sheerman and George Ttoouli with The Pod. underGROWTH is supported by funds from Heart of England Community Foundation as part of the Coventry City of Culture Roads to 2021 programme.

ACE Emergency Fund
Yva Jung has been awarded the Arts Council England Emergency Fund. This fund is designed to support individual artists and organisations to through Covid-19 crisis.
a-n Artist Bursary
Jung has been awarded the Artist Bursary from the Artists Information Company. As part of the Artist Bursary project, she will undertake an intensive residency in the Suffolk coastal town of Felixstowe facilitated by Pier Projects.
